Jenoris is a brand I really want to promote. As a relatively new brand to bloggers across the UK, I think they really do deserve some great coverage - the products are brilliant, in my opinion, and to celebrate this I've come up with this new hair care series. This week I'll be reviewing products from the range individually and giving my verdict on them.

Firstly - what is Keratin? Time for a short biology lesson... Keratin is a protein which forms part of hair and nails on most mammals (that includes us humans). It's essential for healthy looking hair - purely because it protects from pollutants by coating the outside of the hair shaft to shield it from external damage whilst simultaneously penetrating the hair fibres to start reversing any damage from the inside out. In short, Keratin is what makes hair healthy and happy.

This is the Jenoris Professional Keratin Shampoo which I genuinely love. One small sachet is enough for two individual washes or a double cleanse (even on thick hair like mine).

The shampoo itself is clear, slightly runny and easy to lather up; it lathers up really well and really quickly. I massage it into my scalp firmly before moving down the rest of my hair. Even after one wash I'm left with very clean hair that contains no product build-up and is left softer than I've known it to before. I was lucky enough to have a few samples of this left over after the #julylondonmeetup and have been using it twice a week (half a sachet per use) as a cleansing shampoo. The scent isn't particularly strong, just the kind of scent you get when you've come from a blow-dry at the salon which is pleasant. Sometimes I don't want my hair to smell anything but clean.

My hair has felt instantly stronger. The shine is obvious. It doesn't get as greasy as quickly and it's easier to style, even with heat. I know I'm not damaging it as much as I was when I do use heat and because of this my straighteners have been used a lot more recently.

Jenoris Professional Keratin Shampoo 400ml RRP £16.00 is available from the Jenoris Website. For more information on Jenoris products you can visit the Jenoris website. You can follow Jenoris on Twitter and Facebook for news, product information and competitions.
